Philippines eTravel: mandatory registration before arrival
eTravel is the online registration for everyone flying into the Philippines. It's free, takes about 10 minutes and does not replace a visa.
What eTravel is
eTravel is the official Philippine system that combines the immigration and health declarations. After registering you get a QR code to show on arrival.
When to fill it in
Within 72 hours before arrival — earlier registrations aren't accepted. With a connecting flight, count from your arrival time in the Philippines.
What you'll need
- passport details;
- flight number and arrival date;
- the address of your first stay in the Philippines;
- a contact email and phone number.
How to fill it in, step by step
- Open the official etravel.gov.ph site — double-check the address bar.
- Choose arrival registration and enter your email for the confirmation.
- Enter your passport details exactly as printed, in Latin letters.
- Add your flight, arrival date and the address of your first hotel or apartment.
- Complete the short health declaration.
- Screenshot the QR code — airport Wi-Fi isn't guaranteed.
Common mistakes
- trying to register more than 72 hours before arrival — it won't be accepted;
- a typo in the passport number — the QR code won't match your document at the counter;
- paying a copycat site instead of using the official one;
- not saving the QR code offline.
Cost
Nothing. Registration on the official etravel.gov.ph site is free. Sites charging for "eTravel" are middlemen or scams.
eTravel is not a visa
Ukrainian citizens need both: a visa (e-Visa) and eTravel registration. The visa comes first and takes weeks; eTravel is done just before you fly.
Visa to Philippines clients get an eTravel reminder, and with Full service we register it for you.
